Look who's 52 today!

This is not your typical picture of Dave. He's normally not in Africa. (As he was in this picture) He rarely wears hats, and certainly not backwards. But for some reason, I just really like this photo of him. He just looks so happy! Well, he was. He had just gotten a little (dead) springbok to take home with us to put on our wall. It was a very rough hunt and you cannot believe how tough it was to get that tiny little deer. They go 100 miles an hour and can change direction on a dime, and did often. He got the springbok on a hail mary shot at 450 yards. We couldn't get close and they wouldn't hold still. The big smile on his face is for the joy he had in being in Africa and hunting on a safari, his life long dream. May all your dreams come true Happy Birthday Boy!
